How the standings are calculated:
Initial standings are calculated using a points system, where 2 points are awarded for a win, 1 point for a tie and 0 points for a loss. In the event where two teams are tied in the standings, the ratio of runs scored for and against is calculated and whichever team has the highest, positive score wins the tiebreaker.
Looking at the table below, teams are ranked from 1 (highest ranking) to 6 (lowest ranking).
